Una de las principales novedades para la temporada 2018 2019, será el MSC Fantasia en Buenos Aires. Partiendo desde la terminal de cruceros Quinquela Martín, hará itinerarios al nordeste de Brasil de 11 y 14 noches.
MSC Fantasia
El MSC Fantasia, es el primer crucero de la clase Fantasia. Tiene una eslora de 333 metros, 38 metros de manga y 137.936 toneladas. Cuenta con capacidad para 3.274 pasajeros y 1370 tripulantes. Es uno de los barcos más grandes operados por MSC Cruceros y entró en servicio en diciembre de 2008. Durante los últimos años, la clase Fantasia se utilizó para el público brasilero. Estos cruceros realizaron salidas desde Santos y Rio de Janeiro. Mientras que para el público argentino, MSC Cruceros optó por los barcos medianos de la clase Música como MSC Musica, MSC Poesia, MSC Magnifica y MSC Orchestra. Y los primeros años, cruceros más chicos. Pero con el esperada presencia del MSC Seaview en Sudamérica en 2018, el MSC Fantasia parece tener su lugar en Buenos Aires con algunas salidas.
MSC Splendida en Buenos Aires
Luego de varias pruebas virtuales, el 15 de diciembre de 2015, ingresó por primera vez el MSC Splendida, buque gemelo al MSC Fantasia. Se convirtió, hasta esa fecha, en el crucero más grande que arribó al puerto de Buenos Aires. Si bien sólo fue una prueba, quedó abierta la posibilidad de operar a futuro con este tipo de cruceros más grandes. En 2018 también se espera el arribo del Celebrity Eclipse de Celebrity Cruises.

Casi 3 años más tarde, MSC Cruceros expande su oferta con el MSC Fantasia en Buenos Aires. Cubriendo el trayecto al nordeste de Brasil desde el puerto argentino. La temporada 2018 2019 contará con 3 itinerarios de 11 y 14 noches.
